Make water play more available to children with the Double Waterway. Designed to be used in a daycare or preschool type environment, the set of two water troughs provides children with a safe place to experiment with water. At the top of the structure, there is a place to put a hose to provide children with a continuous water flow. As the water flows downward, it moves through a series of points that can be opened or closed with panels. The holes on these panels are placed in different locations changing the water stream and pressure. Children can regulate the movement of the water just with the changing of the positions of these panels. For other children, water manipulation might be more fun with tools. Using cups, watermills, scoops, boats, and more, kids will not just move the water, but move items on or through the water.
Hands on learning experiences can be some of the most memorable. A child at preschool age may listen to an explanation of how water flow works, but they more than likely won't understand. If a child engages actively with the concepts through play, they are will understand and remember them.
