Why climb across regular monkey bars when you can climb across the Overhead Wave Ladder Freestanding! The up and down angling of the horizontal ladder creates the wave-like look to the bars. When standing to the side, the profile very clearly shows a distinct zigzag pattern. One of the benefits of the shape is that adds a vertical element to the overwhelming horizontal bar design. In a more traditional set of overhead bars, kids just put one hand in front of the other in a very linear motion. With the Overhead Wave Ladder Freestanding, they are having to overcome gravity as they take an upward turn and it is slightly easier on the downward turns.
