Catwalk Adventure Bridge

Inspire new story lines for imaginative play with the Catwalk Adventure Bridge. Resembling a rickety wooden bridge, children are able to safely feel that same excitement. Two parallel sets of rope grids create walls with multiple hand and foot holds. The planks of the bridge, while attached to the ropes, still retain a level of movement that adds to the fun of crossing the bridge.

While simply being an inviting piece of playground equipment, the Catwalk Adventure Bridge offers multiple opportunities for growth. Socialization will happen naturally as children take turns and walk past each other while giggling. The structure of the bridge offers an interesting challenge as the motion of the planks require children to work on their hand-eye coordination as well as their vestibular sense (balance). As children play again and again, they will be improving all of these skills.

Constructed to last, this bridge is made from some of the same components that would be seen on a boat. The planks of the bridge are made from larch wood is commonly used in for boats and exteriors of buildings as it is a water resistant material. The handrails are made from the same great Netform 16 mm rope that is seen on all of NetPlay's equipment. A cross-section of the rope reveals 6 strong steel wires encased in a polyester fiber jacket. The heart of the rope is the 3 strand fiber core that further increased its overall strength.
