This independent 8 foot slide is a hit on the playground and a great option for those not investing in a full playground structure. It is the biggest and tallest of its type that we offer. There is an Independent 7 foot slide that is a bit smaller, if you are looking for a more budget-minded slide. The slide itself is constructed of heavy duty high-impact polyethylene with UV stabilizers added to maintain color integrity. The slide utilizes a roto-molded plastic that is extremely durable and stands up to time. This technology will ensure that this slide structure will hold up to years of hard play.
This slide will bit a hit with older children, as it is fast, tall and fun. Specifically, it is rated for children aged 5-12 years old. Children will climb up custom built stairs that will exit to a small deck, allowing children to enter the slide. Children will then slide down the long straight tube until they come to a gentle stop at the bottom of the slide.
High sides on this slide keep children safely within the slide when they are sliding down. Likewise, if children decide to climb up it, the high sides provide a handle for children to safely do so.
This slide will typically take about 8 man hours to install. It is to be installed directly into the ground, utilizing a footer.
