Send children on an adventure all their own on the Voyage play structure. Designed as a challenge for older children, the Voyage is the perfect journey for school aged children that want to push themselves. Everything on the structure starts at ground level making almost all of the activities a body weight exercise. As children hop around they can climb up one of the three different ladders. The Swoop Ladder is the most simplistic, with the Twisted Trident being a bit more difficult, ending with the full sideways ladder, Explorer Wall, with solid panels in it that can be climbed like they are walking along the edge of a cliff or building.
However, what makes this equipment unique is the use of rest areas in the middle of active play. There are multiple suspended cozy areas that children can sit and talk in. Two of these PlayShells are at ground level and two are in midair. While being fun to reach, they also require kids to work on their balance to stay up that high. When they are done they can hop across the Curved PlayPod Traverse in the center, disc by disc. Once on the far side, they can find another resting area that is a sequence of three PlayShells making a full climber, heading upwards. Just opposite, there is the NaviClimb with amorphous forms to grab onto as they work their way up.
For a similar system, the Seeker, the Pinta, the Santa Maria, and the Expedition are excellent choices. If you are interested in a larger system, check out the Peak Adventure and the Trek. For a smaller play system, check out the North Star, Global, Nina, Columbus, and Magellan.
