Fun is just through the entrance on the Archway play system. Designed for school-aged children, there are plenty of challenges that will hold their interest for an extended period of time. When walking up to the play structure, children will immediately notice the array of climbers and spinners headed off in every direction. They can take a spin on the Helix Spinner to get warmed up. Then maybe, they go around the Climb Around Overhead Ladder until they're dizzy. As they decide to move to the main structure they can hop off the circular climber, look out the Bubble Panel, and sprint across the Stepping Stone Bridge. The floating panels create an eye-catching look. As they hit the main structure, they'll be ready for the Curved Overhead Climber. Once they've climbed across they can take the Firefighter Climb back to the main structure. As they head toward the slide, they can choose to go down the Duo Chute Slide, play the Xylophone, or even climb down the PlayShell Spiral. Wherever they are on the structure, they're sure to have fun.
When choosing a playground it is important to consider where the components have come from. Conditioned wood or recycled metal posts are both opportunities to take part in environmental stewardship. Wood was once a staple of playground design, but as time has continued, it has become less common. But, wood and natural materials make for natural learning environments that can be important for children’s development. Several teaching methods use nature and natural tools as ways to reach children. On the other hand, the recycled metal used comes from items that would otherwise rust away in dumps. The recycled plastic comes from specifically milk jugs. As Americans, we tend to drink a large amount of milk every day. This results in millions of used milk contains every year. Even if the play set purchased only uses a few thousand of those milk jugs, its that many more that didn’t end up in a landfill. Your playground purchase can be part of the solution that limits waste.
