Granular aggregate base (GAB) is granite, limestone, dolomite or other rock that has been crushed and graded by screens to a dense grade aggregate. This product contains a mixed grade of mostly small crushed stones in a matrix of crushed limestone powder. GAB may also include non-sedimentary rock, crushed coral, crushed concrete and other pulverized material. Unless otherwise specified, GAB is applied to a thickness of three to four inches.
