The Contrabass Chimes offer a larger-than-life musical experience with their towering appearance and low, resonant sound. The chimes range in height from seven to nine feet tall and can be installed in a variety of layouts, including a horseshoe shape to create a "surround sound effect". Pitched one octave below middle C, the Contrabass Chimes create a deep note that resonates like a gong. It also combines movement with music, as playing all of the chimes involves physically moving between them. The Contrabass Chimes include 4 mallets mounted to their own posts (2 per post). The chimes are appropriate for ages 2-adult, and can be mounted in-ground or surface mounted.
